So you want to enter Cobra 'D'etat' class - minimum requirements

The top authenticity items are listed below. This is to ensure that with a quick glance all D'etat cars looks like the real deal.

 

List of checks for D'etat entry

 1.  Standard AC Cobra body, no mods like splitters, scoops, extra vents +++

 2.  Halibrand rims or look alike, with spinners even if its bolt on

 3.  Smith gauges

 4.  Shelby badges front/rear and side

 5.  Correct bumpers / Quick jack Lifters

 6.  Exhaust pipes : Side or under

 7.  Standard Cobra windscreen

 8.  Standard Cobra rear view mirror

 9.  Correct indicators and rear tail lights

10.  Correct number plate light

11.  Correct gear and handbrake lever

12.  Cobra fuel cap

13.  Correct bonnet and boot locks

14.  Correct switches

15.  Wood steering wheel

16.  Correct seat belts

17.  Correct clutch and brake pedals

18.  Correct form of seats

 

If all cars are equal on the above 18 points, the judges will then go into more detail items not listed above
